The royal family put on their best Sunday outfits this Saturday as they attended the christening of Baby Archie.
The youngest member of the monarchy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6th, making his christening date exactly two months later.
New parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have made big strides to keep their infant out of the public eye, with his baptism being no different.
The public was not privy to seeing the 25 guests arrive at the private chapel at Windsor Castle, nor will the Duke and Duchess of Sussex release the names of Archie’s godparents.
However, Meghan and Harry have decided to share two photographs of the day with the public whom they thanked for their support.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to share the happiness of this day and would like to thank everyone around the world for their ongoing support. They feel so fortunate to have enjoyed this special moment with family and Archie’s godparents.”
The pictures also show off Meghan’s Dior dress and Kate Middleton’s outfit designed by Stella McCartney. Baby Archie was in a handmade replica of the christening gown used for royal infants over the last 11 years.
