Our prayers have been answered.
Several delays off-screen meant that it has been almost two years since we were first introduced to American Gods.
The series, based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel, follows Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittles) and Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) as they attempt to prevent the brewing war between the Old Gods and the New.
Production drama halted season 2, with original showrunners Bryan Fuller and Michael Green being replaced, Gaiman in his capacity as executive producer wanting the story to closer reflect the book, and the actors being dissatisfied with their scripts.
But all that waiting was not in vain as Starz has now released a trailer for the forthcoming season.
We pray for good things when American Gods returns on the 10th of March.
