Great news Sabrina fans! Chilling Adventures of Sabrina gets an extra chilling holiday special.
As the holiday season is fast approaching, so are its festive specials, which means that alongside Netflix’s slate of holiday-themed films, fans will be treated to x-masy themed specials. One of these specials is Christmas-centric episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The official synopsis of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale reads: “The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — when families gather together around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols, tell ghost stories and huddle against the supernatural creatures that come out to cause mischief. Since the Winter Solstice is when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest, it’s the perfect time to conduct a séance — which Sabrina convenes, to try and contact her mother. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know what might come down the chimney.”
The stream giant’s holiday reel trailer gives a sneak peek of Sabrina’s winter episode, with her new platinum blonde do, with Aunt Hilda telling her “We’re going to hunker down and watch our favorite Christmas movies.” This means that the episode takes place after the events of the first season, while the second season still doesn’t even have a release date.
