The whole world fell in love with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina over the course of the first season, and so did Netflix executives. This hit series is yet to come back for Season 2, but that won’t be the end of Sabrina’s journey.
Netflix has ordered 16 more episodes of this series and announced they’ll air them in two parts. This streaming service usually keeps viewership numbers under wraps, but this decision indicates Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is one of their biggest hits to date.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa was head over heels after receiving the amazing news and he can’t wait to share the rest of Sabrina’s story with her devoted fandom.
“I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Bros, Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch. And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka,” said Aguirre-Sacasa.
