Chip And Joanna Gaines Say They Will ‘Never’ Break Up Despite Rumors

Celebrity couples regularly break our hearts with news of break-ups, and recent rumors regarding Chip and Joanna Gaines has their fans terrified that these two lovebirds might part after years of being together.

The Gaines couple has been married since 2003 and star together on the HGTV television show, Fixer Upper. Has their marriage been a match made in heaven or a battle from the beginning?

The Break-Up Rumors Are Gathering Steam

It’s not clear where the story first came from, but it picked up enough steam on Twitter that one fan of the Gaines tweeted that she was “sick of these ‘stories’ claiming @joannagaines and @chippergaines breaking up.” Surprisingly, a short time later she received a reply from the Chipper himself saying that it “won’t ever happen.”

In every episode of their popular TV show, the couple seems completely smitten with each other, but as we all know, looks can be deceiving!

Reality Beyond The Television Cameras

When the cameras stop rolling, real life happens. The couple doesn’t pretend that their journey has been an easy one.

“Nothing has come easy,” Chip said. “We’ve worked so hard to have this beautiful family and this farm — it really does seem like the American dream you heard about growing up.”

Despite the success that they’ve experienced,  Chip says that their children and their marriage will trump their career and business pursuits every time.

A Strong Marriage Leads To A Strong Family

Chip and Joanna have one of the highest-rated shows on HGTV, and after four seasons, it looks primed to continue its dominant reign. Besides a blossoming reality TV show under their belts, the Gaines’ also have four beautiful children, Drake, 12, Ella, 10, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 7, that they raise in Waco, Texas on the family farm.

The secret to a happy family life? The couple says that it starts with them.

“Jo and I both made a commitment pretty early on that the two of us are the most important variable,” says Chip. “If we can figure out how to be right as a couple, then obviously we a have a lot better opportunity to be right for our kids.”

Despite the strong statement made by Chip that the couple will “never” break up, the rumors persist. Sometimes rumors remain nothing more than that, but sometimes, there can be truth in them.

Time will tell if the Gaines stay together, but if they do break-up, they’ll be breaking some fans hearts on top of their own!
