Chris Evans and Ana de Armas have collaborated on several occasions in the past, and their next movie together might just be the wildest one yet. The duo joined forces in the first trailer for Apple TV’s Ghosted, an action rom-com about a couple whose second date turns into an adventure they’ll never forget.
According to its official logline, Ghosted centers on “salt-of-the-earth Cole [who] falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie – but then makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world.”
The first trailer is quite a wild ride, and it’s soundtracked to the beat of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers. This is a pretty fitting choice since Ghosted was directed by Dexter Fletcher, who previously helmed the jukebox musical Sunshine on Leith, featuring the songs of the iconic Scottish duo.
In addition to Evans and De Armas, Ghosted will also star Adrien Brody, Mike Moh, Amy Sedaris, Tim Blake Nelson, and Tate Donovan. It will be released by Apple TV+ on April 21, and it marks the third collaboration between the leading duo, following Knives Out and The Gray Man.
