Chris Evans has been one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors for years, but he’s officially off the market! The Captain America star married Portuguese actress Alba Baptista in an intimate private ceremony in Massachusetts over the weekend.
Evans and Baptista kept their relationship pretty private ever since first sparking dating rumors in 2021. They were first spotted in public in November last year and made their relationship Instagram official back in January, when they posted a silly video pranking each other on their Instagram story.
People was one of the sources confirming that the couple tied the knot at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The guest list was pretty impressive, and it included Evans’ Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, plus John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, who’ll soon star alongside Evans in Pain Hustlers.
Evans and Baptista have yet to make any public comments about their wedding, but he made it clear he wants a family in his “Se-iest Man Alive” interview with People last year.
“When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared,” explained Evans.
