Chris Hemsworth’s schedule has been pretty packed in the last few years since he starred in one box office hit after another, but the Australian actor is finally ready to take a break.

Hemsworth discussed his plans for the future in a recent interview with Australia’s Daily Telegraph and admitted he’s thinking of staying away from Hollywood to focus on his family.

“This year I probably won’t shoot anything. I just want to be at home now with my kids. They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before,” said Hemsworth.

2019 has been a pretty amazing year for the actor – he starred as Thor in Avengers: Infinity War and is playing the lead role in upcoming film Men in Black: International. He is also set to appear in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and Dhaka by the end of the year.

He’s also attached to upcoming Hulk Hogan biopic and buddy cop comedy Down Under Cover, but judging by his latest statement – these projects will have to wait.
