2018 was a year of quick, but adorable celebrity engagements and Chris Pratt is staying true to that trend in 2019. The actor confirmed his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger in a sweet Instagram post.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor announced the amazing news by sharing a photo of him cuddling up to his new fiancé, who can be seen with a brand new ring on her left hand. This pic was followed by a heartfelt caption – “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Pratt and Schwarzenegger started dating back in July 2018, and if you think her last name sound’s familiar – you’re absolutely right! Katherine just happens to be the daughter of action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver.
Despite being a part of Hollywood royalty, Katherine seems to be more interested into following her mother’s footsteps into the world of writing. She’s an accomplished author, with several self-help and children’s books on her resume.
