Chris Pratt is no stranger to breathing a new life into old movies we never thought will be back. Jurassic World star is in early talks to star in a relaunch of Paramount’s action franchise The Saint.

Studio executives are thinking about bringing Simon Templar, aka The Saint, back for another ride, and they already know who should play him. They are hoping to build a film around Chris Pratt, who already proved he’s capable of carrying a franchise on his shoulders with starring roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.

We haven’t seen the Saint on the big screen since 1997 when Val Kilmer played the lead role. This character was portrayed by the likes of Oscar winner George Sanders and James Bond star Roger Moore before the studio started thinking Pratt should follow in their footsteps.

Chris Pratt won’t be able to fully commit to this role before clearing up his schedule a little bit. He’s currently attached to two big blockbusters – Jurassic World 3 and Cowboy Ninja Viking.
