Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to start shooting early next year, and it just added another A-list actor to its lineup. Chris Pratt will reprise his Guardians of the Galaxy role in the latest addition to the Thor franchise.
Not much is known about Pratt’s involvement at the time, but it’s not all that surprising. Thor was aboard Star Lord’s spaceship at the end of Avengers: Endgame and the overlap between Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy was pretty much expected.
What we don’t know at this point in time is if Star Lord will be a major player in Love and Thunder or just a sporadic character. We’re also looking forward to seeing if the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast will join him since we’re used to seeing them as a team.
Thor: Love and Thunder will see Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson reprising their roles from the previous movies, with Christian Bale joining the cast. The film is scheduled for February 11th, 2022 release, with Taika Waititi returning to direct.
