There’s a rainbow baby en route for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend!
Two years ago, the couple experienced massive heartbreak when their son, Jack, was stillborn. During her pregnancy, the model had received at least two blood transfusions due to excessive bleeding from her placenta.
Although Chrissy admitted that the fear of losing another baby remains, she has shared the happy news that she is expecting again!
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” she captioned photos of herself wearing a crop top that shows off her baby bump. “1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.“
The shots refer to IVF treatment which the 36-year-old celebrity has been very open about. She revealed on social media earlier this year that she was undergoing treatment again. Chrissy and the “Green Light” singer are already parents to 6-year-old Luna and 4-year-old Miles.
“Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” she continued on Instagram. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!“
