Zoë Kravitz is currently plotting her directorial debut Pussy Island and its cast will be as epic as it gets. Christian Slater, Alia Shawkat, and Geena Davis are the latest joining the film’s acting ensemble, led by Channing Tatum and Naomi Ackie.

Pussy Island centers on a Los Angeles cocktail waitress (Ackie), who skillfully maneuvers her way into the inner circle of a rich tech mogul (Tatum). Despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne and late-night dance parties on his private island, she quickly discovers there’s more to it than meets the eye.

In addition to Slater, Shawkat, and Davis, the cast of this project also includes Adria Arjona (Morbius), Haley Joel Osment (Goliath), Liz Caribel Sierra (God’s Time), Levon Hawke (The Crowded Room), Trew Mullen (Sunny Family Cult), Saul Williams (Akilla’s Escape), and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), in addition to Simon Rex (Red Rocket), who was previously cast.

Production on this project is currently underway in Mexico. Pussy Island marks the directorial debut for Zoë Kravitz, who also serves as one of the producers. She most recently starred in the superhero flick The Batman, playing Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. The list of her recent credits also includes TV shows High Fidelity and Big Little Lies, and films Kimi and Viena and the Fantomes.
