Many of the world’s leading recording artists will be hitting the Las Vegas stage this winter, and Christina Aguilera will be one of them. Her Las Vegas residency A Truly Modern Twist is coming to The Venetian Resort this winter, just in time for New Year’s Eve.
A Truly Modern Twist will kick off with two shows on New Year’s Eve weekend. Her concerts on December 30 and 31 will be followed by a series of shows next year, but the dates are yet to be officially announced.
In a statement announcing her new residency, Aguilera promised a new show that fuses music, sophistication, and art in ways she has never performed before. She feels like the Voltaire Belle de Nuit at The Venetian Resort is the perfect spot for her new show because she loves how up close and personal she can be with the audience in its intimate setting.
This won’t be the first time we see Aguilera headline her own Las Vegas residency. Her first show in Sin City, Christina Aguilera: The Xperience took place at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. She performed 24 shows across 2019 and 2020 and was expected to come back for more, but the residency was eventually canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
