Christina Aguilera watched several of her peers having a time of their lives while performing in Sin City, and it’s finally her time to do the same. Her first Las Vegas residency is finally coming or way, and the singer described it as “multisensory escape to a world of magic and total freedom”.
According to Aguilera’s Instagram, her residency, called The Xperience, will take place at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood, starting on May 31. This career move was a long time coming, and the famous singer felt she’s finally ready to take it after the enormous success of her lastn Tour.
Her kids are part of the reason why Aguilera decided to settle in Las Vegas for a while. She’ll miss her fans in Europe, but staying at the same place will make it easier to juggle her personal and professional life while preparing the greatest show of her career.
“I can see why people are into the residency, because the travel and everything, picking up and tearing it up, putting it back up, all of it is a lot of work… To be sort of stationary, you get this great opportunity to build whatever fantasy and whatever kind of show you want,” explained Christina Aguilera.
