Hacks is returning to Max in just a few months, and the third season of this acclaimed comedy series will be the most star-studded one yet. Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, and Christopher Lloyd will be a part of the guest-starring lineup of the upcoming Season 3.

Hunt (As Good as It Gets), Hendricks (Mad Men), and Lloyd (Back to the Future) will play mystery roles in Season 3 of Hacks, and they’ll be in pretty good company. Dan Bucatinsky (Marry Me), Tony Goldwyn (Scandal), and stand-up comedian George Wallace joined the series in guest-starring roles, as well.

The leading duo Hannah Einbinder and Jean Smart will also be joined by series regulars Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo in Season 3. Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter will be back, as well, after being promoted from recurring players to series regulars.

Hacks follows the journey of a struggling comedy writer Ava Daniels (Einbinder), whose career takes a wild turn after she’s brought in to help Las Vegas comedy diva Deborah Vance (Smart) with her act. Season 3 will kick off a year after they parted ways and see Deborah riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava pursues new opportunities in Los Angeles.
