Christopher Walken Joins ״Severance״

Christopher Walken lands his next lead role. 

The Oscar-winning actor has joined Apple’s forthcoming drama, Severance, where he’ll star the lead alongside Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, and John Turturro. 

The project, directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, is described as a workplace thriller drama. Severance is set at Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level offering a “severance procedure,” which separates work and out-of-work memories. Walken will star as Burt, the department head of Optics and Design at Lumen.

Severance joins Walken’s few TV roles credits which include the role of Captain Hook in the NBC special Peter Pan Live! He is best known for Academy Award-worthy performance in The Deer Hunter. His other credits include Catch Me if You Can, King of New York, Biloxi Blues, Wedding Crashers, Pulp Fiction, and Batman Returns.
