The cast of John Wick: Chapter 4 is shaping up to be pretty amazing, and another key player just joined its ranks. Clancy Brown is set to star alongside Keanu Reeves in the latest installment of the critically acclaimed action franchise.

In addition to Reeves, the next John Wick will also star Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Rina Sawayama, and director Chad Stahelski couldn’t be any happier to get Brown on board, as well.

“I have been a fan of Clancy Brown’s since I can remember. To have him be a part of this project is an honor. He will make a perfect addition to the World of John Wick!” said Stahelski in a statement.

Brown’s casting in the next John Wick movie comes shortly after he appeared in the critically acclaimed black comedy Promising Young Woman. We’ll soon get to see him play the main villain on Dexter: New Blood, alongside Michael C. Hall.

John Wick: Chapter 4 will hit the theaters on May 27th, 2022 and it’s expected to be followed by two more sequels. Plot details are being kept under the wraps right now, but Stahelski discussed it on several occasions in the past and said we shouldn’t expect a happy ending.
