The Ryan Murphy produced drama for FX has cast Clive Owen to play Bill Clinton.
Owen will play former US president Bill Clinton in the next installment of American Crime Story.
Owen joins Sarah Paulson, who will play Linda Tripp, Beanie Feldstein, who will play Monica Lewinsky, and Annaleigh Ashford, who will play Paula Jones in the limited series. The role of Hillary Clinton has not yet been cast.
Adapted to television by Sarah Burgess from the Jeffrey Toobin 1999 book, Impeachment focuses on the impeachment scandal that surrounded Clinton during his Presidency.
American Crime Story: Impeachment is scheduled to debut on September 27, 2020.
