Coldplay and BTS are working on a collaboration—they’ve announced they have plans to release a new single titled “My Universe”.

The single comes out on September 24 and it’s on Coldplay’s forthcoming album Music Of The Spheres. The song was written by both bands and is sung in English and Korean.

It follows Coldplay’s comeback hit “Higher Power” and “Coloratura”, which are also on the new album. Coldplay will also be releasing a new track called “Weirdo” as part of a musical.

The collab comes after BTS and Chris Martin released their special episodes of the YouTube series Released. In the 18-minute episode, the BTS talked about their inspiration for the dance challenge for “Permission To Dance” and the impact they’ve had on ARMYs (their fans) around the world.

The K-pop group has been participating in many high-profile collaborations with their most recent one being with rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who joined them on a remix of “Butter”.

Coldplay’s ninth album, which is a follow-up to 2019’s Everyday Life, is out October 15.
