Coldplay is doing a great job promoting their upcoming album Music of the Spheres—and the more we learn about it, the more excited we are! Their next single will see the British band joining forces with Selena Gomez, and it will be titled “Let Somebody Go”.

Both Gomez and Coldplay teased the single on social media, by sharing a short visual of a technicolor version of Earth revolving in space. The video featured a brief snippet of the song, set to feature lyrics, “When I called the mathematicians and I asked them to explain / They said love is only equal to the pain.”

Described as a “stunning pop ballad”, this song still doesn’t have an official release date, but we won’t have to wait for it too long. Music of the Spheres is set to hit the shelves on October 15th, and we’ve already got to hear several singles leading up to its release.

Coldplay teased their ninth studio album with the lead single “Higher Power”, which came out back in May. They followed it up with the recently released BTS collaboration “My Universe” and delivered the first live performance of this song at the Global Citizen Festival.
