Martin McDonagh is finally ready to film a follow-up to his Oscar-nominated drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. His next movie, The Banshees of Inisheer, is on its way and it will feature a couple of pretty familiar faces.

Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, who proved they have amazing chemistry in McDonagh’s In Bruges, will be in charge of playing the lead roles in this film. Both actors scored Golden Globe nominations for their performances in this movie, and Farrell ended up walking away with the trophy.

The Banshees of Inisheer will see them teaming up for the first time since In Bruges came out in 2008. According to Deadline, Farrell and Gleeson will play “two lifelong friends who find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship with alarming consequences for both of them.”

This will be Farrell’s third collaboration with Martin McDonagh. The actor also starred in his 2012 crime comedy Seven Psychopaths. Gleeson hadn’t appeared in one of his movies since In Bruges, but he had lead roles in The Guard and Calvary, helmed by the director’s brother, John Michael McDonagh.
