Colton Haynes Returns to The CW’s Arrow as Series Regular for Season 7

If you missed Roy Harper/Arsenal in The CW’s Arrow, then we have great news for you. Colton Haynes will return to the superhero series as a regular member of the cast for season seven. Haynes was part of the Arrow’s main cast in the second and third season, returning as a guest star in season four and six.

“We’re very fortunate and excited to welcome back Colton to Arrow. While we’ve always enjoyed Colton’s returns to the show, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him return as a proper series regular and we’re very excited about all the creative opportunities Roy Harper’s return affords us,” said the series’ executive producers in a joint statement.

The most recent appearance of Colton Haynes on Arrow was in the episode “The Thanatos Guild” (season six, episode 16) when we saw Roy Harper embarking on a journey to destroy the Lazarus Pits alongside Thea and Nyssa.

“I could not be happier to return to my role as Roy Harper alongside my Arrow family,” – said the 29-year-old actor.

The CW recently renewed Arrow for season seven, with network’s other superhero shows like The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Black Lightning receiving the same treatment.

Before joining the cast of Arrow, Colton Haynes was featured in guest roles on shows like CSI: Miami, Privileged, and Melrose Place. He also played Jackson Whittemore on MTV’s Teen Wolf. Haynes’ most recent works include starring as Detective Jack Samuels on American Horror Story: Cult and being part of 2017’s comedy Rough Night.
