Courteney Cox’s Daughter Is Busting Into Show Business

Some celebrities love to thrust their kids into the spotlight every chance they get. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the Courteney Cox’s of the world.

Since giving birth to her daughter Coco in 2004, Cox has tried to keep her daughter away from the public eye. But now, Coco is starting to force her way onto the center stage and follow in her mom’s footsteps.

Over the last few years, we’ve slowly seen Coco Arquette start to seek out the spotlight shining on her parents Courteney Cox and David Arquette. It started with her simply following her parents to film premieres and special events. The 13-year-old was even spotted donning high heels at her mom’s directorial debut premier for Just Before I Go.

Now, she is looking to take things a little further.

For the big Bruce Springsteen fans out there, you might remember a young Courteney Cox appears in the 1984 music video for “Dancing in the Dark.” Perhaps inspired by her mother, Coco recently starred in two music videos.

At just 12-years-old, Coco made her first on-screen debut in a music video of the Irish musician Foy Vance. It’s no coincidence the song was called “Coco” and the video was directed by her mom Courteney.

Eventually, Coco wanted to get out of her mom’s shadow. A year later, she appeared in yet another music video for Monogem’s song “Wild.”

As young Coco continues to make a name for herself, everyone is wondering what path she will take. According to Courteney, Coco is a “really good singer.” It’s still too early to tell whether she’ll act, sing, dance or all three. Whatever she chooses, it’s likely her built-in connections will certainly help.
