Creative Arts Emmys: “The Queen’s Gambit” Leads with 9 Awards!

The Queen’s Gambit was the big winner of the Creative Emmy Awards, collecting nine total awards.

Netflix’s chess-themed drama won awards for casting, costumes, cinematography, costumes, makeup, editing, production design, score, and sound editing and sound mixing.

Following with seven Emmys was The Mandalorian and RuPaul’s Drag Race won five awards. RuPaul scored his sixth consecutive win and 10th Emmy. Saturday Night Live also collected five awards, bringing their total to 83 Emmys.

In regards to network, Netflix dominated with 34 wins, Disney Plus has 13, HBO and HBO Max has 10, NBC has 7, Apple TV Plus 6, and VH1 5.

Guest acting Emmys went to Lovecraft Country‘s Courtney B. Vance and The Crown’s Claire Foy for drama and SNL hosts Maya Rudolph and Dave Chappelle for comedy.

The Primetime Emmys will be held on September 19.
