Daniella Pineda has joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming new anthology series What/If.
The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom actress has been tapped to star in the Renee Zellweger led series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pineda has landed a series regular role. She will play Cassidy, a work-obsessed employee of Bioprint since its inception. She is the kind of woman who does the right thing, even when no one’s looking — a quality that will come to haunt her when she is set up to take a big fall.
What/If is described as a social thriller that explores what happened when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. The first 10-season episode centers on a newlywed couple, played by Jane Levy and Blake Jenner, that accepts a dangerous proposition.
Pineda’s other credits include The Detour, The Originals, and American Odyssey.
