The Last of Us recently went back to production in Canada, and another four amazing actors just joined its star-studded cast. Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord will star opposite Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the second season of HBO’s hit series.

Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will play the loyal solider Manny, whose sunny outlook belies the pain of old wounds and fears. Ariela Barer (How To Blow Up a Pipeline, Runaways) will star as Mel, a young doctor who tries to stay committed to saving lives in the face of war and tribalism.

Tati Gabrielle (You, Kaleidoscope) will join them as a military medic Nora, who’s still trying to come to terms with the sins of her past. Spencer Lord (Heartland, Family Law) will play Owen, described as a gentle soul trapped in a warrior’s body.

Even before these four actors hopped on board, the second season of The Last of Us was already shaping up to be a star-studded affair. Kaitlyn Dever (Unbelievable), Young Mazino (Beef), and Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold ) joined the cast as Abby, Jesse, and Dina, while Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek) was cast in a mystery guest role.
