David Duchovny Joins “The Craft” Reboot

The sequel to the 1996 cult classic has added David Duchovny to its cast. 

Deadline was first to report that the actor best known for his role on The X-Files has joined the upcoming reboot of The Craft from Zoe Lister-Jones. 

Duchovny will star opposite the previously announced Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, and Nicholas Galitzine. No other details of his characters have been revealed. 

The original starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Rachel True, and Neve Campbell as a quartet of teenage witches who wreak havoc. While the film only earned $24.8 million at the box office it quickly became a cult classic.

Duchovny recently starred in the crime drama series Aquarius as well as Twin Peaks. He’s currently working on a film adaptation of his novel, Bucky F*cking Dent
