Our favorite raunchy and foul-mouthed superhero is back. The new teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 surfaced online, and it is super fun, although it doesn’t give away much about the movie itself. The two-minute trailer begins as one of the Bob Ross painting videos, but in a way, you would expect from a character like Deadpool. Two thirds in, the trailer titled “Wet on Wet” cuts into actual footage of the movie, but the scenes are too short to get a sense of the actual story behind them. Check out the trailer below.

Alongside the trailer, a synopsis of the movie was also revealed, but once again, it doesn’t tell us much.

“After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”

Deadpool 2 is scheduled for release on June 1, 2018, with the majority of the cast from the original movie set to appear. They will be joined by Josh Brolin who will star as Nathan Summers / Cable.

Plans about Deadpool sequel were announced in February 2016, with Ryan Reynolds returning as a titular character and Tim Miller as a director. However, towards the end of the year, it was announced that Miller will leave the project due to creative differences with Reynolds. John Wick director, David Leitch stepped in as his replacement. Although the second Deadpool movie is yet to hit the theaters, the third one is already in development.
