Demi Lovato’s fans have been patiently waiting for her to perform again, and it seems she’s finally ready to step back into the spotlight. The former Disney star has been chosen to perform the American anthem before this year’s Super Bowl.

Lovato is following the footsteps of Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, and countless other legendary performers who had the honor of delivering the anthem before the biggest sports event of the year.

This isn’t the only exciting live show she added to her schedule this month – Lovato is also set to perform at the Grammys on January 26th, which will be her first live performance since she went on hiatus in 2018.

Lovato isn’t the only pop artist that makes us look forward to the Super Bowl LIV, taking place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on February 2nd. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be headlining the highly-anticipated halftime show, and we can’t wait to see who else will join them on stage.
