The official trailer for Dexter: New Blood has been released by Showtime and two major characters from the original made an appearance.

Dexter Morgan, played by Michael C. Hall, is still dealing with his Dark Passenger. “Monsters walk among us,” Dexter says in voiceover after we see a serial killer similar to the ones Dexter used to choose as his victims, has been haunting his new Upstate New York territory. “I might still be a monster, but I’m an evolving monster.”

Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) has made her return and she asks him, “You can not wait to kill again—have you learned nothing?” We also see his son, Harrison, who’s now a teenager and played by Jack Alcott, at the end of the trailer.

The new 10-episode series is set 10 years after the events of the series finale where Dexter goes missing and finds himself living under an assumed name in a new town.

Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, and Clancy Brown also star in the series. The show is executive produced by Clyde Phillips, Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Bill Carraro, John Goldwyn, and Sara Colleton.

Dexter: New Blood premieres on November 7. Check out the trailer below.
