Disney Chanel’s Tween series “Andi Mack” Renewed for Season 3

There is more of Disney Chanel’s tween series Andi Mack coming our way. The network just announced that this comedy-drama has been renewed for the third season. According to reports, season three will start soon with the filming in Salt Lake City and should premiere in late 2018. Twelve new episodes from season two will make their way to the TV screens in June.

Andi Mack was created by Terri Minsky (Lizzie McGuire) who also serves as an executive producer of the series alongside Michelle Manning (Teen Beach 2, The Breakfast Club) and Phil Baker (Good Luck Charlie). Andi Mack stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as the titular character with Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie, Asher Angel, Lilan Bowden, and Lauren Tom being among other cast members.

“A series about a girl discovering that her sister is really her mother was new territory for Disney Channel, but Terri’s honest, authentic storytelling allowed our audience to connect deeply to these characters and their journeys of self-discovery,” – said president and chief creative officer at Disney Channels Worldwide Gary Marsh. “What she has crafted stands as a high-water benchmark for kids and family storytelling around the world.”

Andi Mack received positive reviews from the critics since debuting in April 2017 who praised the way the writers handled things that are important in the life of a young person.
