Disney+ has given us one of its most acclaimed shows with Loki, and its second chapter is just around the corner. The first trailer for the second season of this Marvel series is here, and it promises another mind-bending ride through the alternate realities of the MCU.

The teaser trailer opens with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) seeking help from a Time Variance Authority archivist OB, played by the Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan. They’re trying to solve Loki’s time-slipping problem, while Loki reflects on the issue at hand:

“I’ve been pulled through time, between the past and the present. If what I saw is true, there’s nothing that stands between this world and utter destruction,” he explains during a reflective voiceover.

In addition to Hiddleston and Wilson, Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and Tara Strong are also expected to return in Season 2, along with Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr will join the series in undisclosed roles.

Season 2 of Loki will feature a total of six episodes penned by returning writer Eric Martin, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directing new episodes, and it will premiere on Disney+ on October 6.
