Disney+ is Developing “Robin Hood” Remake

Disney is working on yet another remake for its streaming platform Disney+. 

The studio is working on a remake of its 1973 animated film Robin Hood. According to Variety, the new iteration of the classic story of Robin Hood will feature hybrid CGI — live-action technology similar to the remakes of The Jungle Book and Dumbo

Attached to direct the pic is Blindspotting director Carlos Lopez Estrada from a script penned by Kari Granlund, who also penned the 2019 Lady and the Tramp reboot. Justin Springer is set to direct. 

The original movie, directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, earned $32 million at the box office on a $5 million budget.
