WandaVision recently wrapped up on Disney+, but another highly-anticipated Marvel series is just around the corner. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere next month, and the new character posters got us even more excited for this superhero series.
In addition to Sam Wilson aka Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), the new posters give us a look at two more characters that we’ve been introduced to in the previous Marvel movies. The characters in question are the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) and the main villain Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl).
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will show the two titular characters join forces “on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience.” The series takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and the first of six episodes will premiere on March 19th.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier isn’t the only Marvel series coming to Disney+ this year. Loki starring Tom Hiddleston is scheduled to be released this June, while Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel are eying a late 2021 release.
