Dixie Chicks Postpone “Gaslighter” Release Indefinitely

The Dixie Chicks’ imminent new album has been officially postponed. 

Reps for the group announced that the long-awaited fifth album Gaslighter will now drop in the indeterminable amount of time. 

Per the official statement, the “highly anticipated fifth studio album, Gaslighter, originally scheduled to drop on May 1, 2020, via Columbia Records, has been postponed. Additional details are forthcoming. Fans should continue to check @DixieChicks social media for additional updates and announcements.”

The Dixie Chicks dropped their fourth album, Taking the Long Way, fourteen years ago.
