DJ Khaled never had any trouble creating a lot of buzz for his albums, and he did it once again with Khaled Khaled. His twelfth studio album easily topped the Billboard 200 chart, becoming his third record to do so.

Khaled Khaled debuted atop the chart with 93,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week. It was followed by several previous no. 1 records—Moneybagg Yo’s A Gangsta’s Pain, Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, and Justin Bieber’s Justice.

DJ Khaled is no stranger to topping the Billboard 200 chart. He previously hit no. 1 with Major Key in 2016 and Grateful in 2017. He also came close to reaching the top with Father of Asahd in 2019, but Tyler, the Creator’s Igor eventually took the no. 1 spot.

Just like many of DJ Khaled’s albums in the past, Khaled Khaled’s rise to the top was aided by an extravagant list of guest stars. “Greece” and “Popstar” featuring Drake reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 long before the album was announced, but Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, and Justin Timberlake were also among DJ Khaled’s collaborators on this record.
