Production of the sequel to The suicide squad will begin later this month and the cast is feeling. Deadline is now reporting that the newest addition to the crew will be the Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi. No details about his part are known at this moment.

Capaldi is an Oscar and BAFTA-winning actor and director. He won those prizes for Franz Kafka’s It’s a Wonderful Life which he has written and directed. He also directed 9 episodes of the BBC version of Getting On. He also appeared in movies such as World War Z, Paddington 2, Christopher Robin and the animated series Watership Down.

In addition to Capaldi, there is a chance that Saturday’s night Live’s Pete Davidson will have a small cameo in the movie. This is still not a signed deal, though.

The two actors will join the existing cast which so far includes Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) as well as new castmembers Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher), Flula Borg, Steve Agee (King Shark), Nathan Fillion and Taika Waititi. The movie is written and directed by James Gunn.
