Doja Cat is the queen of epic collaborations, and the list of artists she worked with is pretty much endless… but that’s about to change. The “Say So” singer recently revealed she wants to become more selective about her collaborations because she feels that the music industry is oversaturated with them.

During a recent conversation with ExtraTV, Doja Cat called her past collaborators “incredible”, but said she wants to be more careful about who she’s working with because she feels there are too many collaborations and remixes out there.

“I do want to be more choosy about what I’m doing because I feel like a lot of features are coming out. It feels like people are just getting on each other’s songs for the sake of having them on each other’s songs. I want to be really careful about that,” said the Grammy-nominated rapper.

Picky or not, Doja Cat always knew how to choose the right collaborators who bring the best out of her. She recently won the best collaboration award at MTV VMAs with SZA for “Kiss Me More”. This song served as the lead single from her latest album Planet Her, which also featured team-ups with Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Young Thug.
