Dolly Parton is coming to Netflix. Parton will team up with the streaming service for an eight-episode anthology series that will be based on the iconic songs written and performed by the 72-year-old country legend.

According to Netflix, Dolly Parton will serve as a singer-songwriter and executive producer alongside staring in this yet-untitled project.

“As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music,” said Parton in a statement. “I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros. TV for their incredible support.”

Dolly Parton did a similar project with NBC when the network produced two movies based on her “songs, stories and inspiring life.” The first movie, titled Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors, aired in 2015 and was seen by 13.03 million viewers, becoming the highest watched movie aired on broadcast networks since 2012. A sequel, titled Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, was released in 2016 and also became a success attracting 11.53 million viewers. Both movies ended up receiving positive reviews from the critics.
