The star-studded cast of Don’t Look Up has gotten even brighter with the newest additions of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, and Matthew Perry who will join Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, and Rob Morgan.

Adam McKay (Step Brothers, Anchorman, Talledega Nights, and The Big Short) wrote and will direct the film.

The Netflix comedy follows two low-level astronomers who go on a media tour to warn mankind of an impending asteroid that could destroy the planet. Lawrence and DiCaprio are expected to play the astronauts, but it hasn’t been confirmed by Netflix.

The film is scheduled to start filming before the end of the year.

DiCaprio is set to star in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon adaptation. Streep is starring in Ryan Murphy’s The Prom and HBO Max’s Let Them All Talk. Chalamet’s next films are Dune, The French Dispatch, and Going Electric.
