The most well-received DC Universe series to date is officially returning for season 2.

Jeremy Carver confirmed Doom Patrol’s renewal at San-Diego Comic-Con on Saturday evening. Star Diane Guerrero also confirmed that the show will be available to stream on two platforms — DC Universe as well as HBO Max, WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming service.

The series penned and executive produced by Carver is based on characters by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani. It follows a group of outcast superheroes, who suffered horrid accidents that gave them superhuman abilities but also left them disfigured. They are Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Matt Bomer/Matthew Zuk), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), and Crazy Jane (Guerreo) led by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton).

According to Variety, season 1 of Doom Patrol holds a 95% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
