“Down To Earth With Zac Efron” Season 2 Expected to Premiere in 2022

Netflix is making another season of their breakthrough docu-series Down To Earth With Zac Efron. According to Deadline, the streaming service giant already started production on season two, setting the premiere date for 2022.

The new episodes will see Zac Efron team up with wellness guru Darin Olien once again. The pair will head to Australia, where they’ll interact with locals while searching for a healthy, alternative, and sustainable lifestyles. They will also explore the culture, food, and practices of the places they visit. 

Efron confirmed the news about season two on his social media.

Down To Earth With Zac Efron arrived at Netflix in the summer of 2020. It covered a number of themes, including green energy, sustainable living, and nature. Efron and Olien visited eight different locations for season one, including France, Puerto Rico, and the Amazon rainforest.

The docu-series became a surprising hit for Netflix and reportedly had strong viewing numbers upon its release. The reviews were also positive, with many critics praising its light-hearted and tone and Efron’s performance as a host.

Down To Earth With Zac Efron received its fair share of criticism as well, with some reviewers taking problems with the way some topics were handled. This includes environmental issues and pseudoscience claims.
