Drake is making his way back to television!

Before getting into music, the 31-year-old was a Canadian teenager who starred in the country’s most famous teen drama, Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Now the In My Feelings rapper is headed back to the small screen, albeit in a different capacity.

In conjunction with fellow rapper, Future, Drake will produce an Americanised version of Israeli teen drama, Euphoria.

HBO has picked up the series which follows a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.

The Greatest Showman actress, Zendaya, has signed on in a lead role capacity, while Knocked Up actress, Maude Apatow — the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann — and former Grey’s Anatomy actor, Eric Dane, will also form part of the cast.

Several of the series’ original producers will also serve on the project.
