Drake has been spending his entire career breaking one chart record after another, and he did it once again with his latest single “Toosie Slide”. This viral hit debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making the Canadian rapper the first male act with three no. 1 arrivals.

Drake previously had his hit singles “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What” debut atop the Hot 100 chart back in 2018, and “Toosie Slide” replicated their success less than a week after its release.

This single owes its enormous success to the viral dance, choreographed by social media sensations Toosie, Hiii Key, Ayo & Teo. The music video for “Toosie Slide” sees Drake performing the dance and started another popular challenge, that quickly took the internet by storm.

“Toosie Slide” also became Drake’s seventh track overall to reach the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. He also hit no. 1 with “In My Feelings”, Rihanna collaborations “Work” and “What’s My Name?” and “One Dance” featuring WizKid & Kyla.
