Drake gave us one of the most talked-about albums of 2021 with Certified Lover Boy, and its chart domination is nowhere near being over. His latest LP returned to no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the third week in a row and managed to beat tough competition.

Certified Lover Boy earned 171,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during its third week on the chart. The number is significantly lower than the 613,000 units that it earned during its debut, marking the year’s biggest week, but it was still quite enough to top the chart.

Certified Lover Boy is currently the third album this year to spend three or more consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. It joins Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which spent ten consecutive weeks on top, and Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever with three consecutive weeks at no. 1.

When it comes to the rest of the Billboard 200 chart this week, Drake was closely followed by Lil Nas X, who took the no. 2 spot with his debut studio album Montero. K-pop band NCT 127 also had an impressive week on the chart and took the no. 3 spot with their latest album Sticker.
