Dua Lipa’s new remix album is almost here, and we finally got to hear one of its songs—the music video for the new rendition of “Levitating” is here and it features Madonna and Missy Elliott.
The dreamy video was directed by Will Hooper, and it features appearances from several young models, Lipa’s boyfriend Anwar Hadid, and Missy Elliott. Madonna is nowhere to be seen as she provided only vocals for this remix, produced by The Blessed Madonna.
Despite the fact we don’t get to see the Queen of Pop in the flash, Lipa discussed her admiration for the legendary artist in an interview with Zane Lowe, saying she had the time of her life working with the legendary singer.
“Madonna has been an artist that I’ve listened to my whole life. Her career trajectory as well has been something so inspirational and the momentum that she’s kept and the way that she’s grown with her music,” explained Lipa.
“Levitating” will be featured on Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album, scheduled to be released on August 21st.
