From Game Night to a film about a proper game.
That’s the direction that Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis’ career is heading.
The filmmakers have been tapped to bring to life the big-screen adaptation of the beloved role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons.
The fantasy board game has been featured in television shows and movies, such as The Big Bang Theory, Stranger Things, and E.T., but has never received the cinematic treatment itself.
A legal dispute over rights managed to delay the project for several years, but it looks to be back on track under Paramount and a screenplay from Michael Gilio.
Having previously directed Game Night, starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams, Goldstein and Francis penned the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Tell your party.
