Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is known for being the one of the most highly sought actors to star in action films. Johnson who is known for action and comedy films such as Central Intelligence, Get Smart , The Fast and Furious Franchise and the all-new film Skyscraper  has been in talks to star in new action-packed film, Red Notice.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there has been a multi-million dollar bidding war among the different movie studios including Legendary Entertainment, New Line Cinema, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Universal Pictures for this new action comedy, Red Notice.

Red Notice would team up Johnson and Skyscraper writer and director, Rawson Marshall Thurber. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson could make up $ 20 Million on this new film and Thurber could make up to $ 10 Million. While plot details for this film is unknown, Johnson would play an Interpol officer in the film.

The Hollywood Reporter notes the estimated production budget for this film is between $120-150 million dollars, which seems very high for an action film, but every Johnson film seems to have a payoff.
