The Fast and the Furious star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his wife Lauren Hashian are about to have their second baby. The Rock made the announcement via his Instagram profile, while also revealing that the baby will be a girl. He posted a picture of his daughter Jasmine on Monday and captioned with the following:
“Our Jasmine Lia would like to make a big announcement – IT’S A GIRL! @laurenhashianofficial and I are boundlessly grateful for this blessing as this spring we’ll welcome our second baby. Plus, Jazzy is excited to boss around and protect her lil’ sis. And once again, big daddy is completely surrounded by beautiful estrogen and loving, powerful female mana. All girls. Only dude. I wouldn’t have it any other way. #ItsAGirl #GratefulMan #TequilaTime.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Lauren Hashian, daughter of Boston drummer Sib Hashian, began dating in 2007, shortly after the actor divorced his first wife Dany Garcia. Lauren gave birth to their first child Jasmine in December 2015.
After wrapping his wrestling career as one of the all-time greatest professional wrestlers, the Rock found its way into the acting world with smaller TV roles before getting into the movies. His first major breakthrough came with the role of Luke Hobbs in Fast Five before he went on to star in movies like Pain & Gain, San Andreas, and Baywatch. His most recent acting effort is the movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which will be released on December 20, 2017, in the United States.
